“History & Theology Of The Protestant Reformation” — Mark Junda

SS_W26-2_MJ.PNGJoin us for a Sunday School class exploring the history and theology of the Protestant Reformation, one of the most pivotal movements in church history. We'll trace how God used ordinary men, bold conviction, and recovered biblical truth to transform the church and influence the modern world. Together we will examine the lives of key Reformers, the rediscovery of core doctrines, and the impact of these doctrines on the church today.

“He Is There and He Is Not Silent” — Sal Fossa

SS_W26-2_SaF.PNG“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Colossians 2:8)
See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. The word of God stands alone as the answer to questions of being, morality, and existence. Although we may not ascribe to the “word of man”, these empty philosophies permeate our culture and if we are not careful, infiltrate our worldviews. We will examine the argument for the supremacy of God's Word against the philosophies of man as detailed in Francis Schaeffer's He Is There and He Is Not Silent.

“God, Greed, and the Prosperity Gospel” — Massimo Esposito

SS_W26-2_ME.PNGThe Psalmist tells us, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Jesus declared, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” These, and other verses tell us that God’s children will inherently be blessed. Yet, there are prominent Christian leaders who resent any mention of a health and wealth Prosperity Gospel which says that if you have enough faith or if you give the right amount, God will richly reward you. What does the Bible say about money, blessings and faithfulness? And why did the Lord warn us that it is difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven? Join us for an in depth study of the Prosperity Gospel as it is explained by Costi Hinn, nephew of Benny Hinn, as we study his book, God, Greed, and the Prosperity Gospel. Hear from Costi, and the privileged lifestyle he left behind as he rejected the luxuries of this world for the glory of God.

"Focus On Foundations 2026—The Gospel" — Gill Garbini

Focus On Foundations 2026—The GospelWhat is the gospel of Jesus Christ? A seemingly easy question has produced a wide variety of answers in our culture, especially among Christians. This question alone can create much controversy. Just ask the question and you'll soon find out that it is surrounded by a fog of confusion! Yet the gospel stands at the very center of Christianity and we have built our lives upon it and our church around it. We will be taking a deep dive to shore up the edges of the gospel in your heart and mind, build your confidence as you share with others, unify our church and cause your heart to overflow with joy and praise toward our good Lord. Whether you're a new believer or a seasoned saint, this class will be spiritually profitable. So, what is the gospel? It's the one question that we had better get right.

"The Gospel At Work" — Anthony Kyle

The Gospel At WorkHow do I view my daily occupation in light of my primary responsibility as a disciple of Christ? Is work a necessary evil or divinely ordained? Is full-time Christian work more valuable than my job? How do l prioritize-or balance- work, family and church responsibilities? Is it ok to be motivated by money? Based on the book "The Gospel at Work" by Sebastian Traeger and Greg Gilbert, this class will explore how Christians are to view their work and daily life responsibilities in light of the Gospel's primary place in their life. Explore how scripture informs everything we do in life, even and maybe especially our perspectives on work.

"Intro to Church History — The Early Church" — Corey Winship

Intro to Church HistoryWhile many Christians are intimately acquainted with the book of Acts, they are often completely unfamiliar with the period of Church history that followed. This course will provide an overview of the early Christian Church from its origins in the 1st century to the early Middle Ages (c. 30–600 AD). We will cover a variety of topics including; early Christian worship and practice, key figures of the early Church and their writings, Catholicism and various early Christian sects, ecumenical councils and creeds, and much more. The goal of this class is that we develop a greater appreciation for the work that Christ has done in His Church and those faithful brothers and sisters who came before us. Although not a requirement, we will be utilizing 2,000 Years of Christ's Power by Nick Needham as a textbook and copies will be available for purchase in the bookstore.

"Women Mentoring Women: The Titus 2 Model" — Marilyn Beltle

Women Mentoring WomenIn Matthew 28 Jesus directs his followers to make disciples, teaching them to observe all that He commanded. This command is made gender-specific in Titus 2: 3-5, which says that the older women-older in years or in spiritual maturity- should teach the younger women “what is good”, as it relates to our roles as women. Over the last few years, our Women’s Ministry has challenged the women of Grace to do just that, and beautiful relationships centered on the Gospel have ensued. This class will help us to continue doing this, by showing women how to enter into a discipling relationship. We will use the book Spiritual Mothering by Susan Hunt. This book will be available in our bookstore. Please know that there will be homework: reading assignments, as well as practical challenges.

"How Should We Respond To Suffering" — Bob LaForge

How Should We Respond To Suffering Suffering can have many faces: betrayal, loneliness, abuse, death, and more. It can be relentless and take over our thoughts, our motives, our physical abilities, and our lives. It can linger like a brick in our chest for years or even a lifetime. But we are not a people of hopelessness. We are not a people of despair. We are people of resurrection. Our trials are not our grave. We have a firm and assured hope. Optimism says, “Don’t worry, it probably won’t happen.” Hope says, “It may happen, but God will keep us.”
This class will discuss 18 practices as to how we should think and act when we are suffering or in a trial. These include: solidify your spiritual foundation, acknowledge your feelings, find joy, take your grief to God, you are not trapped by your past, and others. We will also examine six ways on how we should respond to other people's suffering including: The importance of presence, acknowledging their grief, not judging them, and others.
The Bible does not give us a glass of water to temporarily quench our thirst. It gives us an ocean of knowledge so that we can more than endure, so that we can have confident victory.

Written as a detailed record of the Blessed Savior, the Gospel of Luke displays the wonders of Christ’s heart by the account of His incarnation, teachings, conversations, miracles, and passion narrative. The Author’s conclusion begs us to answer the question — can we, beholding so wonderful a Savior, not worship Him with great joy, blessing God continually, who is enthroned forever (Luke 24:52-53)?
