BARRY MORMAN
LAY PASTOR/ELDER
I was born in Tyler, Texas and grew up nearby in the small rural town of Whitehouse. After graduating from Whitehouse High School, I attended Harding Christian University where I met my wife Patti. We were married in 1975. In 1978 God blessed us with a son Jeremy and in 1981 another son Joshua. After graduating in 1976, I spent almost 37 years working for J. C. Penney in multiple assignments and locations. God gave us wonderful church families at every move in Arkansas, Missouri, Washington and New Jersey. I spent the last 17 years of my career managing the Monmouth Mall store in Eatontown (NJ). We began attending Grace Bible Church in January 2009, and after retirement from Penney’s, I joined the pastoral staff in May 2014. I serve as associate pastor/elder overseeing congregational care, counseling, and small groups.
